Was it a real good price? Is everything else OK? Unless it drives u crazy I might just run with it. I got a couple decent one with dings, the dials are mint though never seen anything like u have but it adds character.

Yes. Only my hunch though. You'd need to check the back of the dial to be sure.

 

I see.... I think you get the more probable explanation... Seems logical with this very localized burn... I planned to let it for a service, so it will be the right moment to see behind and take pictures... I will post them... To solve the case!
