I wonder if many people fall into either the Nike camp or the Adidas camp? For me its Adidas all day long, but maybe because of their originals collection that were expensive when I was a kid, but now I can buy as many pairs as I want.

Mate, you're out of sync with the Scouse boom / bust cycle. You should be pretty bullish right about now.

Frequent Flyer Point.

Me too - Aeroplan so frequent flyer points I can never f#cking use...fellow Canadians will understand. I have decided to go with Amex points now and hopefully one day fly business class to Oz - had enough Aeroplan point for 2 biz class tickets but no seats available dammit!

I understand the frustration of not being able to use your FF points. With that in mind, I'm happy to accept transfer of your points to my account. This, I feel, will certainly ease your troubles 😀

Any decent booking place to go on CX literally require 1 year planning. My hotel to CTS next year had to be booked 9 months in advance🤨, I want to add another to the party and no seats are out there 🤬...
Aeroplan, sell them to guys who wants to fly HKG-YVR 🍿🍿

We actually tried to book more than a year in advance, but they don't post the seats available until closer to the date of the flight, and no one really knows when they will be posted. There is no way to have them reserve those seats until they are posted, and no way of notifying you when the seats are posted, so you literally would have to check in every day to find out when the seats have been posted as available, and hope you get them before someone else does. Very customer friendly system!

This was a while back (maybe 18 months ago) and they have apparently made more seats available on some flights.

We were actually able to use the points for other flights (paid for business class in points value but only the first leg is actually business class - rip off!), and for car rentals...so no currently points left to sell or give away. 😉

I'm post pics when I get back home from this business trip. I have a 1967 Malibu HT and numerous guns. I collect bullets too. Wifey doesn't like it, but she'll appreciate it when the zombies come 😀. Or when dinosaurs are cloned and they escape the theme park.

Don't subscribe to either zombies or bulletproof dinosaurs so, if Tyrannosaurs Rex ever does make a comeback he better stay off my street for something is kept on hand for such.

Looks like you're in Kansas. No zombies in Kansas.

The rifle in the photo in the above post is a Winchester Model 70 Super Express chambered for the .375 H & H Magnum. Shooting from "here to eternity" down a canyon south of Sanderson, ("No Country For Old Men" setting) Texas and right on the border.

Nokona made some nice gloves as well. Here's a 40's split finger from my collection:

I've run across my great uncle John(dad's uncle) glove but not my Nokona glove just yet.

Goldsmith glove.....I do not know anything about it other than he and my great aunt were married in the mid 1920's, and he told me he used it before their marriage and shortly thereafter for a few years.

AAAKK, anything you can add would be appreciated.

All I can make out is Model G, other than the tag, and brass button:

Guaranteed Athletic Goods Cincinnati Ohio USA
