What Does The '1' In The Ω Signify?

I've noticed on some old movements, that some show only the Ω above the calibre number, and some show a '1' in the Ω number. What does this mean? Is it meant to signify Revision 1?

Enhanced or added to. Maybe a better term, but these were after they were first issued. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm assuming it means subsequent revision, but just wondering if that is all and what specifically was 'improved' or 'enhanced'.

The number "1" in omega symbol, "written" on movement, means that the dial is more high than the normal, example is the Constellation "pie-pan" dial.

I hope I don't say a wrong thing.
