路A little clock I spotted in a charity shop. I would usually pass these brown, unspectacular old clock by without a glance but there was something about this little one and when I spotted the made in England script at the bottom of the dial I took the chance to own a piece of English clockmaker history for 拢14.99. I brought it home, wound it up and its keeping good time. Wife isn't keen but I may well keep it.

路路His Holiness Puer SurdusNot a watch but a clock! The Synchronome was first produced around 1900, this one is a very late vintage, circa 1980.
These were high quality pendulum master clocks that were used in factories, schools, etc. The master clock kept time and distributed an electrical timing signal every 30 seconds to a bunch of slave clocks (which had no timekeeping mechanism).
