Not easy to find examples of these iconic marketing pieces, especially in this condition. Thanks to the help of a kind friend/member, though, I was able to snag this one recently.

A little clock I spotted in a charity shop. I would usually pass these brown, unspectacular old clock by without a glance but there was something about this little one and when I spotted the made in England script at the bottom of the dial I took the chance to own a piece of English clockmaker history for 拢14.99. I brought it home, wound it up and its keeping good time. Wife isn't keen but I may well keep it.
Elliot seemed to be a fairly respectable maker.

Blue Bezels for my 2255.80. bought 2. Didn't know if I'd like the faded or not. (I ended up with the darker one.)
Changed the silver bezel over to a blue one for a different look.

Found them locally mounted on shitty straps. Here is another one I'm waiting. Size is 16mm.

Not a watch but a clock! The Synchronome was first produced around 1900, this one is a very late vintage, circa 1980.
These were high quality pendulum master clocks that were used in factories, schools, etc. The master clock kept time and distributed an electrical timing signal every 30 seconds to a bunch of slave clocks (which had no timekeeping mechanism).

This came in the mail today. I鈥檓 not much into Barton straps and I honestly do not recall purchasing this. I also don鈥檛 know which watch I had in mind for it. Weird I haven鈥檛 been drinking that I know of.
