Just finished the series "Dopesick"...

Mixed feelings to be honest. I fully understand the issues with oxycontin and the damage it's caused, and the lies told by the drug companies.

On the other hand, I took it for years and never had issues with it, but I was very cautious in how I used it. I never used it on a regular basis, and quite honestly I hated taking it, so only used it when the pain I was in was unbearable. Kept my dosage as small as possible. Thankfully I don't take anything like this now and haven't for many years.

I do recall being somewhat concerned that when the problems with abuse became so rampant, that they were going to ban it here, and that would have made things much worse for me.
Drugs (and addiction) affect everyone differently. They really ravaged the US and it's effects will be felt for years to come.

It's created havoc here in Canada as well. Addiction does affect people differently. My wife's family has a couple of members who have gambling addictions. My mother in law received money from her initial divorce, then even more money after her second husband died, but she now has nothing but the retirement unit she lives in, and has difficulties handling any real expense. So we end up paying for her car repairs and stuff like that - this is all from out of control gambling.

"Snowfall".
An excellent fictitious account of how crack cochineal came to scourge of North America.

I can't be certain, but I believe you've become the victim of an autocorrect that happens to love entomology.

Started watching the show "Lost". It's interesting - I remember friends talking about it growing up but never watched it myself.

Started watching Norsemen as Hen mentioned it.
Also watching Tulsa Kings, series two.
Watched Shogun, The Old Man and Slow Horses. All of which were/are enjoyable.
Just found an old British comedy called Earlydoors, which if you are British or known anything about British pub culture, you should give it a go.
