So, after finishing Justified and it's reboot, we were looking for another longer running series. We started watching Bosch - really enjoyed it, and have now started watching Bosch: Legacy. First season of that was a little weak, but it has picked up in the second season.

The Bosch series was outstanding. Looking forward to season 2 of Legacy, after I finish watching Lupin on netflix

The consultant, on prime two episodes so far. Christoph Waltz is great.

It's an odd one, but still good.

The David Beckham documentary on Netflix. Nothing earth shattering.

I am re-watching Better Call Saul this week. I love how fantastically it uses scene setting to tell so much of the story, a trait that it took from the scenes with Mike from Breaking Bad and applied to much of the way this show was constructed. Chuck's verbal and emotional abuse of Jimmy is so well done I found it difficult to watch the first time around.

My greatest takeaway from this show (and breaking bad) is that when you entertain people that are highly dysfunctional, there can be very serious consequences to your life and the relationships within your life. These shows obviously take it to an extreme, but assuming people will change (especially when they have given you no reason to think that), justifications for people's behavior, sunk cost fallacy--- we see a lot of these things in these shows.

@Dsloan I don't know if you have Netflix but a show comes out this coming Wednesday called life on our planet, and the image Netflix keeps showing is that of a Smilidon! My kids are excited.

Anyone mentioned Babylon Berlin yet? Interwar Weimar Republic police drama. Superb sets and costumes, complex script.

Just finished watching the 2nd season of Foundation the Isaac Asimov adapted for TV series and I must say I liked even more than the first season.
Unfortunately the release of season 3 looks to be delayed with the actors strike.
Having watched this TV re-imagining I might be tempted to read and reread the book series but probably not as the paper version to me was a load of stilted boring writing that I only partially completed due to the bad writing, thankfully Asimov wasn't always a bad read and I enjoyed many of his other works, the only exception was the Foundation series.

I wish Netflix and Amazon could have worked it out in some way but Mickey Haller from the Lincoln Lawyer and Bosch are half brothers in the book series. Could have been a great series or miniseries

Not sure if anyone here is a fan of The Boys, but if you are you might want to check out Gen V.

I've seen a lot of stuff on TV, but this was the first exploding penis...😲
