Toasted bread, rocket, smoked ham, chicken, mayo, tomato and fried egg. Sometimes the only sandwich that will do is a really good club sandwich 😁
Was given some Arabian truffles today - or kamah.
Very much in season right now.
Also called thunder potatoes because apparently they like a good thunder storm before they start to poke their heads through the sand.
Very nice sautéed with a little butter and onion and braised in chicken stock.
Tastes like a cross between a truffle and an artichoke.
I will have to check that place out when I am in Oregon!
