Earlier this summer I picked up an S197 Mustang Convertible as a fun car. Not a refined road-course worthy machine, but definitely has 'seat-of-your-pants' acceleration and major fun factor!

It joins my blacked out Explorer Sport that I rely on during inclement weather ('let it snow, let it snow, let snow...'), towing and hauling operations. The twin turbo 6 puts out a decent 365 hp and acceleration similar to my old '90 Mustang 5L.

an unstable donkey and a redial.....

How about something other than photos? My wife was taking the M2 today, so I thought I'd shoot a video of the start-up to get some sounds...

Sounds a little more raw and mean than my Z4M did...

Wow didn't know Al was a bimmer fan. I am a M fan myself. Have a Z3M Coupe and had a M roadster before that. Had a E90 M3 that was totaled a year ago and just found another to replace it. I tried the new M3 but just could not get used to the steering or turbos.

Just picked this up two weeks ago, love interlagos blue. Just added the M performance exhaust. Carbon exterior spoilers are on their way!

!
You can see how tiny the Z3M is next to the other cars!

To make this back on topic, here is the good ol Speedy.

How do you like the lift? I've tossed around the idea of getting one myself but I'd have to lift high enough to clear an SUV so I'm not sure...

Not today but yesterday...my beloved '07 Ford Police Interceptor [P71]. It's my daily driver and I purchased it new over 10 years ago...hit 100,000 miles last winter. I'm a former cop [Cincinnati Police]...so I dig cop cars...especially Ford Panther platform cop cars since that's what I drove on patrol...

Yesterday...wearing the Speedy Gonzales Moonwatch on Speedy Tuesday while driving my P71...

Back in May of 2007 the day I purchased it new from a Chicago area Ford Fleet dealership...my '01 Ford Mustang Bullitt GT is in the background...

Hitting 100,000 miles last winter...I knew I'd hit 100,000 on my way home from work that day...so I pulled over on the wide shoulder of the road at about the 99,999.7 mark and gradually eased it along to the 99,999.9 mark, took a pic, gradually eased it along to the 100,000 mark and took another pic [notice the tenths of a mile digit disappears at 100,000 miles]...

Current appearance of my '07 Ford Police Interceptor...the wife unit [MacGyverette] didn't like the appearance of the black steel wheels with small stainless steel center caps...so I purchased OEM police full wheel covers...

Lift is great. As long as you have the ceiling height there are lifts high enough for SUV to fit under.

'67 Chronostop Seamaster today in the 997:

If I am honest, I am not totally down with the slight S&M/bondage vibe that the grand prix strap (3 holes per side) gives, I may have to move it onto something less interesting.

Yes been a bimmer fan for a while now - my wife and I have had 10 between us. I know what you mean about the steering and turbos - for me the steering is the bigger issue in reality, where the turbo is more of a philosophical issue than a real life one (sort of like when the first V8 Jag came out - just seemed wrong on some level, but is pretty much accepted now).

I like this M2, but still think the M Roadster was a better car in some respects...

Wrist shot with the JLC Master Compressor Memovox in the Z4M...
