You might want to visit Omega's vintage database and search for 14390-1. If it is in their database it will list the calibers.

I am not familiar with the term "soft case" What does it mean in collectors circles?

Here is a blow-up of one lug of the OP watch. Do you see how polishing has "softened" the originally sharp edges? And yes, @STANDY, the lume is missing from the minute hand.

Wow, I would never have seen that on the photos. I'll have a closer look when it arrives 😀 I get what you mean, but from an esthetic point of view at least it looks like it was polished properly... Or would you disagree? 😁

No, polishing like that is not desirable to collectors. I suggest you read the "learn how to fish" thread that I linked earlier in this thread.

I already read through it and I will use it in the future. Thank you! 😀 Ok, guess it's like you said: as long as I'm fine with it, it's ok and I'm fine with these rounded corners, but I will definitely have a closer look on them 😉
