You mean an Omega Alaska Project anniversary watch with a shinny gold case and white strap similar to what the recent Soyuz MS-21 crew is seen wearing? I still think there is a possible tie in and something is up with the watches they are wearing.

Me too! That would be an incredible way to do the release.

But I am a bit torn; if there is a “real” Speedie in the mix I personally don’t want it to be a gold case. So the marketer in me hopes you are right, the watch buyer side hopes not.

In this video, at about minute 53, there are distinctive glints and flashes that show pretty conclusively this is a gold (or gold-plated) watch with highly reflective surfaces.


I don’t think there’s ever been a good outside suit watch flown? If so, this would make yet another model of watch to space?

Again paging @SpeedyPhill - any chatter of this in your spheres?

Yes sir. They too are glued to social media to get information when there is none from the source. It's a good hype that may be fizzle out soon.

Well, there you go...as pointed out, this rendition doesn't match what's been shown officially so far, so this is not likely "it"...

Chatted online at Swatch website. I was curious as to what time on the 26th, I was told that it was an in store launch and that it would be made available when Swatch stores opened. I asked if online ordering would be an option at that time or even after the launch day. I was told several times in several different ways that the only way to purchase the Omega x Swatch line would be directly at the store. I sure hope I was misinformed but I thought I'd share with you all....

It worked for a minutre and then went offline.

The render seems to be correct. Its Omega x Swatch branded moonswatches.

Some of them are very cool looking.
