What’s happening on March 26th then?

Yep, you can see "Speedmaster MoonSwatch" on the dial in one of those flashes, with the seconds and minutes subdials visible. Interestingly, the hours subdial is obscured - suggesting it could either be the 12 hour of the 3861, or (more likely) the 10 hour of the quartz movement.

Those "planet" discs on the images of the casebacks - notice there's a tab for removal? They look like batteries...

So it's not a Smartwatch... That other thread that got locked was way off.

Now I’m intrigued…definitely something speedy-ish…some crazy box of mission Speedies with swatch design elements would be my guess…

I hope it's not corny.

I don’t think Swatch has ever had a smartwatch, so that idea was bleh from the go

If it’s got a real omega moonwatch in there it’s going to be at least £7k….

So, I’m one clear photo of the caseback there’s some additional copy noticeable:

there’s seemingly:

“Swat[ch]
“Swiss [Made]
“Water-R[esistant]
“Design P[atent Pending] [?]
“Four 4 [?]

Any ideas what the “Four 4…” could be describing?

Likewise but you know it will be so exclusive nobody will get their hands on it

with some adjustments, can just make out that it says (drumroll):

“Four 4 Jewels”

Which is a rather odd number of jewels indeed… Used in swatch’s quartz chronographs

You’re right, and think it’s settled

Omega has lent to Swatch only it’s case and dial design, and branding (“Omega,” “Speedmaster,” and “Moon(S)watch”) for a set of watches that are otherwise composed of Swatch’s bioceramic and its 4 jewel quartz chronograph movement, with the little planets on back being the battery covers. Here’s one of Swatch’s current ($175) quartz Chronos:

So quartz powered moonwatches in lots of colours. I’d imagined priced closer to swatch range than omega, don’t think you can get away with £5000+ using a swatch quartz movement.

As Standy said earlier; priced correctly this could be a great “gateway drug” to bring the next generation to Speedmasters and Omega. How many here would gift these to kids, nieces and nephews? I know I would if priced right. And readily available,,, fingers crossed.

some insider rumors stating ~$2,200 U.S. for their set of 11

If they’re sold in singles, but the marketing of the big boxes etc might suggest these are sets only

I suppose they could do a Tokyo 2020 speedy type approach, and have a limited number of special boxed full sets, then otherwise sell singles.

Is it the 24th now then? Moved by 2 days?

Seems possible the 24th is only a reveal (per timeandtide’s video), while sales go live still on 26th (per omega and swatch marketing)?

Otherwise agree the T&T video and Ig posts stating the 24th is odd
