Regardless of what you think about brand damage, or selling the Crown Jewels for cheap, I have to say I absolutely love that and will be buying one. I love the 105.012 pushers and the fact they have nodded to other features like the Alaska hands (though that one isn't my first choice at all, not even my second or third). I also like how they have the text aligned like the SpeedyMoon date watches in a flat line.

I think in many ways it is a win. For Swatch. For Omega? Less sure.

It’s clearly between these two for me (or possibly get both).

Let’s see if I can get my hands on one (or two).

Yeah I also only count 10. Do we know which one is missing?

Because most forget to post the one in the header pic:

I called the Swatch store in DFW. They'll open at 10 and will have employees to mange the line and take information and which watch is desired. They'll pull in one customer at a time to process the transaction. He didn't know a price point or how many of each they'd be receiving. He did say a limit of two per customer.

Is it a win for Omega now? Debatable. Will it be down the line? I think yes.

I think this is trying to bring in younger people who will at some point want "the real thing"...

My only quibble (and it's not a big one to be honest) is having Omega on the dial.

Omega and the Moon is sort of like Disney and Star Wars. They will milk that franchise for everything they possibly can but some of the endless spin offs are quite good but some are just a shameless cash grab

Curious, what do you consider this one to be?

RE a limit of 2 per customer: that makes sense for the individuals, but that big case has to be a limited special set for 11X-ish

Fun watches, I'd buy one to use when running or biking, as I now use my Tissot V8 quartz watch on these activities (perhaps the same movement, dial seems similar).

"MoonSwatch" as a moniker is really offensive. It's like Ed in marketing put in a placeholder name, and no one got round to changing it. Seriously, I just heard about it, and it makes my skin crawl.

Yeah I must also admit that after accepting the fact that this hobby is supposed to be fun, that we shouldn’t take everything so seriously and all that, I also find them quite amusing 😀
