I have not been able to find the pilot/ navigator to whom the watch was first issued but when it was downgraded from 159 to 234 it belonged to my great uncle Flight Sergeant Ernest Lauder who was a radar instructor at RAF Compton Basset Wiltshire. After the war he became a school teacher in the Larne area in Northern Ireland
