After som cleaning and polishing of the crystal, it checked out real nicely

No corrosion or piting though. This specimen has spent its life in a dry climate!

Also, last but not least; an unpolished case with sharp edges! A polished case is such a turn off for me....

I´m very pleased that it went so well this time. The stakes are so very much higher, and the risk for disappointment is equally so higher nowadays!

According to the price chart on Speedmaster101 I clearly scored a birdie.

I was hoping most of the sharks in my pond had gone on vacation, and it seems like I was right. The last 145.022-69 I saw sell on auction in Sweden fetched twice as much as what I paid. OK, it had the DON, and the condition was better too, but nonetheless.

 

I may have to come over and hang out in Sweden.
