S54B32 the best inline 6 engine from the factory ever made, and likely the pinacle of inline 6 developement. Sure some others can get more power with new internals and forced induction...

333hp 270lbft 3.2 liters that pulls all the way to an 8k redline. All engine, naturally aspirated. Dual variable valve timing, and 6 independent throttle bodies. Killed due to fuel economy laws. RIP cool non turbo engines.

Sadly, these are not mine. Because it was misting here today we did not roll them out of the garage. The big guy with his back to the camera is the owner. Nice garage. He sold his Hudson Hornet to pay for the renovations.

I still sometimes regret not getting the z4mc instead of my e46m. Can't wait to hear what you think of the M2. Most reports are saying it's the true heir to the M3 legacy.

Yeah the third gear pull from 3k is adictictive. Nothing quite feels like that building pull all the way to redline when the engine says it has more and the ecu says not so fast Speedy and cuts the gas.

Prior to a torrential Saturday,......Friday early Morning, was bright, but very misty in Manchester....

Took my new, ( to me), classic Mazda 'Launch Edition' MX5, to the local Park to capture the English Autumn light

For those, interested images were captured on a Leica M8

Spent four hours yesterday (Saturday) washing, vacuuming, detailing my hobby car for its inaugural show and shine which was scheduled for today (Sunday). Fourty year old, AMC Concord fastback, 4.2 L, IL6, 4-speed, 169,000 kms (roughly 105k miles). Owned it since new, repainted twice. Drove it a bit yesterday, and again today as I went to the venue for the S&S, to find it cancelled because of rain! Hoping a rain date will be scheduled.

Glad there is still people maintaining AMCs they deserve more love than they get. Here are the most recent AMCs I have seen. These have been within the last 5 months or so. Concords are the Eagles without the 4x4 and such correct?

Up until the last 2 posts, I was sure I had the most mundane vehicle on the forum: a 2008 Toyota Corolla with 137,000 miles. I'll drive it until the tires fall off.

Concord preceded the Eagle 4-wheel drive. AMC merged with Renault (was bought out, actually). Renault needed dealers in North America. So after 1983, AMC dealers began selling North American versions of Renault. Including the Eagle (Fuego) sport models, Encore, Premiere, and Alliance. Built in Kenosha, but they were Renaults. After 1983, the Concord was discontinued. AMC was producing Jeeps and Eagle 4 wheel drive two-doors, sedans, and wagons. As well as Renault. These latter day Eagles are NOT Concords, (though they may look like them). The merger was not successful for either AMC or Renault. Chrysler bought AMC in 1988 (IIRC), because they wanted Jeep.

You have at least another 100,000 miles to go if my Toyota Fj80 is any indication.
