Yes, Omega recommends this once per year at a minimum.

Does this mean just an dry test? Or does it require both a dry and wet test? How much does this cost? It's a great idea but I don't know anyone who does this annually.

Dry test - should be free at an Omega facility that is equipped to do the test.
