·Just landed yesterday from a new friend in Switzerland, who tells me I'm just the third owner of this beauty, after himself and the original owner. Universal Geneve Tri-Compax 12253, 18k yellow gold, from the 1946-49 period based on the serial. The only other one I've ever seen here on OF is from @Northernman. Couldn't be happier. And I'll also add to my earlier thread for anyone interested in the rather unusual placement of the stamps on the OUTSIDE of the caseback... @billving @LouS
