Watches and Cocktails

I’m sure others enjoy a nice cocktail (or two) along with watches, so I thought I’d start a thread so people can post pictures of our watches and favorite cocktails (or drinks if you are a wine/beer person). And to discuss favorite cocktail recipes.

Although it’s not my favorite, I’ve been enjoying Negronis recently. My wife snapped this photo on our recent trip to Berlin. Me, my Seamaster 300 heritage, and a nice Negroni. She was enjoying a Kir Royale.

Cheers!

Old Fashioned from my trip out West back in May. Standard old fashioned recipe. NO muddled fruit, for goodness sake. I do sometimes allow a single Luxardo cherry. This one made with Bulleit rye whiskey. It was very, very good.

I’ve stopped ordering old fashioneds in bars now for this reason — either too much muddled fruit, a lot of added soda water, or too much sugar. For such a simple drink, most bartenders don’t make it correctly.

I probably come off like an asshole but I ask beforehand how they make them or just tell them what I want.

Just a glass of Merlot or Shiraz in the evening. I might have an occasional Kir Royale, but no great lover of cocktails.

Chin-chin.

I hesitated to contribute to this thread as I have no recent photos and none with watches included. But I do love a good cocktail. But it has to be made well by someone that knows what they're doing. My favourites are probably porn star martinis. You can't beat a good cosmopolitan but it can be hard to find a good one. But I'll drink any cocktail as long as it doesn't have egg in it. I make a good porn star martini, and a good bramble. You know it's serious when you start making your own sugar syrup...!

I love cosmos. My SIL makes whiskey sours with an egg. It all ends up whipped up in a glass. Surprisingly very good.

Apres sail Negroni’s on the patio. St George Botanivore Gin, Campari and Dolin Dry Vermouth. Yum!

Lovely thread! Just the other night we were out at our local haunt, having a local draft (I think it was a Tom's River Red Ale) and I took a pic of my 1964 Pie Pan

Enjoying an Old Fashioned on the back deck while I’m timing the steaks on the grill. Looks like it’s time to flip them!

Keeping this thread alive.

Timing the steaks with my freshly serviced Speedmaster while enjoying a Manhattan — Wild Turkey Rare Breed, Antica Carpana, and Angostura bitters.

A man after my heart! Antica formula is one of my favorites, but I have been using Classico lately because of availability.

Also... fantastic bracelet on that speedmaster!
