Inherited 2 Omega watches and seek information

Hello,

I'm trying to find information on 2 Omega watches I inherited from my mother. One is a small cocktail watch gold electroplated. She had it for about as long as I can remember. Probably bought in the early 1970's. I remember her having to get it serviced often. Picture 1.

The second watch is one I don't think I ever saw her wear. It is a De ville with a blue face and a cityscape on the back. Pictures 2 and 3

I'm interested in knowing the model number and, if possible, what they might be worth. I have tried doing some internet sleuthing and can find something similar to the cocktail watch. It doesn't appear to be worth much since it's gold electroplated. I have not found much on the De ville Blue dial.

Thank you in advance,

P

Unfortunately women's watches have a low demand. I am pretty sure these are both quartz as well. The sentimental value is great, the monetary value is low. So far there is little collector interest in this era of watches and with them being women's watches it will be hard to find much info on them. Hopefully someone here knows more.

If you click on the 'Omega Stories' tab there are some good articles on Womens Omegas.

The De Ville with the dark purple dial, looks quite nice. Usually Quartz is marked as this in the day was a selling point.

I prefer watches with removable straps/bracelets. So the integrated braclet is not to my personal taste. These often sell in bulk lots.

The midsize 16 to 20 mm are going to have more interest (and more written about them) than the cocktail watches.

Still the omega name, does seem make such watches more desirable.
