Looking to get a watch or two covered

Importantly I don’t have contents insurance as I don’t have a fixed address anywhere (most of my things are in storage)

Currently I go between the UK and Spain so it would be interesting to consider a policy for travel / Europe

Any recommendations?

Perhaps people will chime in with a few suggestions, but for more comprehensive advice, I'd suggest a forum search. You will find many excellent discussions of this topic on the forum, a few are linked below, but please search for others. As alternatives, you could also consider a safe deposit box at a bank, or a safe in your home. There are many threads on those topics as well.

Completely my fault for not explaining !

I only have vintage watches, and I wanted to travel with them.

I had looked at a few threads and it seemed much trickier.

I’ll have a proper search and see what comes up as I need to get it sorted soon

not sure if you ever found anyone but Assetsure Insurance or TH March are meant to be decent.

A lot depends on the value of the watches and where you travel. I've traveled a lot with watches, domestic and overseas, and never had any issues. The real question is, do you really need insurance at all? I suspect if you have a theft in a foreign country your insurance policy will make you jump through hoops to get paid. Just my opinion. Personally, I self insure things like watches and my wife's jewelry.

@Evitzee - thats actually why I ended up leaving it until now. I was living over in Spain for 3 months and it was debatable at best as to whether Id be able to claim due to the length of stay. I took some lower value watches with me and that was that.
