Hi folks, I’m looking to purchase my first decent watch at some point this year (when lockdown eventually ends!) so have also been considering insurance for it too. I don’t have house/contents insurance which I can add it onto, and it’s value is above my business insurances limit, so I can’t go down that route either. With the above in mind, what are peoples views/advice on independent insurance (specifically those based in the UK). Is it needed, or even worth it, and who should I look at as I presume it will require a specialised policy. I did like the look and ease of use of HODINKEE‘s insurance but unfortunately it’s not available where I live. Any thoughts or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks.
