Watch Bands, who makes them?

Odd post probably, but I'm looking to support someone who makes watch bands. I really like having a variety and I wanted to engage with someone who does this on the side or as a primary profession.

I would love to buy bulk and just random colors, looks, feels. If you make watch bands, or know someone who makes some superb stuff you'd like to recommend, please do! I'm looking to buy at least 3 of ever size to start. I like options.

“Bands”, the word might imply metal, not leather. There are several on the.MB who make leather STRAPS. And there are referrals to companies that made BRACELETS. Please clarify what you want, and perhaps there may be help forthcoming.

Ok. I assumed, (yea my mistake) that my desires would be clear, given the vast amount of knowledge on this website and forum. But you are correct. Let me clarify so that you may understand what it is I'm looking for and was hoping to purchase and help small business get some funds.

LOOKING FOR LEATHER WATCH STRAPS PLEASE.

If this doesn't pan out, Amazon it is. Greatly appreciate your corrections as crucial as they were.

I have not gone custom since Martu disappeared. Had good luck with Finwatchstraps awhile back. Also hear good things about Aaron Bespoke and Strap Tailor

I’d recommend @jankoxxx I’ve bought two shell cordovan straps from him, one for my A386 and one for my Seamaster piepan, both are fantastic. I actually hate straps in general but his are the perfect blend of comfort, durability and style.

I ordered a custom from Hemsut. I don't like straps and they generally don't fit me but I was able to get the exact length and style I wanted.

If you are looking to buy large quantities of straps in different colors and materials, to find what appeals to you, you might consider some of the eBay stores from Vietnam. Many of them are pretty good, and once you really know what you want, you can invest in some custom straps. It's a lot easier to swallow paying $25 than $150 for a strap that ultimately doesn't appeal to you.

Many of them are pretty good, and once you really know what you want, you can invest in some custom straps. It's a lot easier to swallow paying $25 than $150 for a strap that ultimately doesn't appeal to you.

Now that sounds interesting, having seen other forumites with Vietnam straps with all sought of exotica being used as the base skin, my interest is now very much piqued. Any particular sellers of note in that regard?

My go to guy is George at www.genteel-handmade.com, superior quality, huge selection of colors and options, not terribly expensive at around €120-150. But everything is custom made to your specs. George is in Romania.

Tuns makes very good straps for the price, but there are definitely also cheaper suppliers.

TJC Leather is my custom strap maker, I like large alligator scale front and alligator flank in a different color on the back for only $120 in any style I want. He also does fitted lugs for a little more.

Yea I've sent countless people to him and his work never disappoints, beautiful finishing and so comfortable and supple compared to anything else I've tried. Its especially stark when you feel the difference between his and some of the OEM brand straps that feel like cardboard and cost a fortune.
