I own the WWII version of the A11 and love it, but I wasn't aware there was a version of this watch made into the 70's! The case shape is great and looks like stainless as opposed to the earlier chromed versions. Is this still 31mm or is it larger? Swiss movement? Need details!!
Whoops! Typo! A-17A, I think this is 31....but not sure. Def small

That makes more sense, I have the Bulova 3818A which is it's cousin (posted earlier in the thread).

Yeah, small but I dig it. An A-11 is def on the list for me, but the wife has approved a Speedy so I def have to prioritize!

Here’s an Early Bulova 3818a

And an A11 in good shape can be had for about the same as a used Hamilton Khaki...won’t affect your Speedy money -says the devil on your shoulder 🙄

I wear a Deep Sea, kind of an homage to some of my early brethren who chose the Sub for wear in Vietnam. The sub is a bit small for me so I went for stainless in 44mm.

That is a beautiful example of an A-11. All that I have found have flaking chrome or have been recased.

Hi all, new to the forum and already in awe of some of the pieces floating about on here! I've just got the two issued watches thus far but I'm right on the edge of a very slippery slope 😁
