Vintage Gold Plated Square Black Waffle Dial 50's "RETMA" Manual Wind (AS 1220)

• Damn this watch is neat and mysterious.
  
  • Retma is not listed in Mikrolisk; doesn't show up on ebay.
• The 21 jewel AS 1220 winds and bench runs nicely. Plus it is a higher jewel count than Ranfft lists and nicely finished in rose gold colour.
• Super cool square black waffle dial and red-tipped seconds hand!
• Applied indices and numbers
• 10k rolled gold plate bezel/lugs; curved stainless back
• 32mm case width, 19mm lugs
• Came to me as a "spare" with some bulk lot and was cool enough I've kept it; time to pass it on!
• My age guess is late 50s based on the movement and design; could be from the early 60s as well.
