- A neat, tonneau-cased watch with a grey-black linen dial!
- ETA 2789-1 automatic movement runs well for occasional wear in rotation. It'd benefit from a service.
- Day in English and francais; quick sets for day and date.
- Mineral crystal has a couple of scratches
- A white linen dial'd version with a Fortis crown was listed and sold in 2020 by a forum stalwart. The watch in this ad does not have a Fortis crown.
- I really like this watch, but its not getting any wrist time. But maybe I'll keep it. This is your chance, people!
- Who or what is "Birks"? Glad you asked.
- Check out this great thread where @Russ Murray said it best "My Mom worked at Birks for years. At one point, I guess you could consider them the Tiffany's of Canada. But once they lost the right to use The Royal Court of Arms as registered purveyors to Her Majesty, things started to go downhill so to speak. Birks are now a shadow of what they once were but then again, time marches on. Just wish I was into watches back then and use my Mom's employee discount"
