Tried my speedy on a NATO wich looked good but soon after I switched back to the 1171 bracelet. What do you think? Bracelet or strap? Nato was a 22mm. Just wanted to see how it looked. Waiting for a couple of 20mm straps.

I'm in that camp that thinks a NATO strap is the ultimate 'an answer to a question nobody asked'. Keep it as it was supposed to be.....on a bracelet.

I may be in the minority, but, I seldom wear any of my watches on a metal bracelet... just the way I prefer it. I find NATO straps, usually leather, to be very comfortable and IMHO they look great.

While a NATO is a great option it’s also exploring some traditional straps.

the Speedy is very diverse and looks great on a variety of straps. Try and find some curved end leather ones and a “vintage” leather.

I personally always end up going back to the bracelets though, try a flat link like the one above a 1035 or 1039. The new Uncle Seiko version is a great option.

Try to find a Leather Nato from kangaroo leather. Extremely tough, thin and very long lasting ..... Not cheap. Kind regards. Achim

I love NATO above all other's, for me the level of comfort is perfect for me. I wear them in reverse so all hardware is in the lower position and not visible at te head.

Two Stitch Straps have a beautiful grey leather NATO that I purchased.
