    Hi all,

Just want to share something that I found out recently.

l love the look of vintage flat link type bracelet on my speedy and my Broad Arrow, but came to the realization that I really need a bracelet with micro adjustment.

Long story short, I picked up a Railmaster 57 Trilogy bracelet from the bay, and a cheap flat link bracelet from Amazon for $40.

    Here is the link:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0748FGLXJ/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apap_1MfjvfEDMyC3u

As you know, the trilogy bracelet is 19mm and the Broad Arrow/Speedy has a 20mm lug width. So you will need to use the endlinks from the cheap bracelet, but they fit like a glove. No filing required!

    I have attached some pictures.

It is a good fit, but the endlinks are all polished. I might get the center link brushed at some point.

Anyway, this is my first real post here. Hope someone finds this info useful. I had learnt a lot from this forum and just want to give something back.

Looks good. Brushing the center links is a nice idea.

Thanks! Here is a photo with better lighting.

It looks very similar to the new speedmaster 57 trilogy edition now.

Agreed that the center links needs to be brushed. I will give it a try and report back!

I think it looks really good on your Replica! i was thinking about purchasing the same Speedy, i will keep this mod in mind!

@captain_NEMO on this forum already mentioned it before, there is a pen on Amazon that you can buy for a few bucks for brushing your Endlink.
    Maybe it will help you..

    Results of my first attempt.

I ended up using 400 grit sandpaper.

I love that bracelet. I spoke with my OB today and they are getting one of those bracelets for me now, but the price is steep. $720 excluding tax. Looks great though and it will last a lifetime...

That's great. Yes, it is a really good bracelet that looks good with the sliding micro-adjustment. Glad to hear someone feels the same way!

Waw, thats an improvement! What is the total weight of the watch now?
I guess my choise would probably be the 1171 bracelet.

While not of any real use to me, I am happy to read this sort of thread where someone thinks creatively and finds crafty solutions. Well done, @OmegaFan503!

Looks great - good work. The trilogy bracelet is great albeit the micro adjustment at about 3-4mm is Fairly limited I found. Certainly works on your watch.

I have 1171 on my moonwatch as well. I like it as well. My only gripe is the lack of sliding micro-adjustment. I just find myself using it often, especially during summer. May be my project would to try figure out a way to mount the adjustable clasp on a 1171!

Here are some weight result of the watch. I took a total of 6 links off the bracelet. For comparison, I have results of a moonwatch on a 1171 too.

Assuming the broad arrow and the moonwatch weights about the same, then this bracelets definitely weights more. However, it is by no means heavy.

I totaly agree 136 grams is not bad at all!
    Thank you very much!!
Edit: now that you showed both, i must admit i like the broad arrow combination almost more than the moonwatch on 1171.

    @OmegaFan503

Thanks for this information and post. I have a 3594 and have been swithering over trading up to the 57 trilogy but couldn't justify paying 2x more for some minor cosmetic differences.

I recently picked up a trilogy railmaster, so this post was very timely, as I had access to the trilogy bracelet.

Thanks for providing the links for the amazon bracelet - I've gone ahead and copied you.

It makes a big difference to the 3594 imho and my thoughts about upgrading have been obliterated.

Haven't got round to brushing the end links yet, but that's next on the list :)

Excuse my ignorance, to brush the end links, it's as simple as just rubbing the sandpaper over their surface I take it?

    It looks great!

Glad to see that someone else can do this upgrade as well. It really changes the look of the watch. IMHO, it is a perfect match since the broad arrow is a modern reissue and a modern bracelet suits it much better.

I have the same thoughts about upgrading too. At the end, I can't justify it as well :)

    Cheers!
