·Dear Forum,
my Rolex Collection has (unintentionally!!) been growing a lot recently. Even though i got this great example of a 5513 (Serial 3,3 mil) just recently from a trusted friend, i feel like i should reduce my collection a bit. Not sure if i really should, because a watch in this condition seems hard to find. I am convinced that only perfect examples like this one will develop in price and will always find a collector / buyer in the future.
It has been serviced recently (no real "proof" for that, as it was a "cash-deal" with a famous vintage Rolex specialist in Germany). But once you look inside you will know.
It has a 93150 Bracelet with 580 endlinks. The Patina is crrrrrreamy! Perfect Dial, fat case, etc. Oh yeah, and a super domed Crystal.
Serial and reference nr are perfectly clear and sharp.
This watch is the most accurate Rolex i have ever worn. incredible: +2 Seconds in 8 days.
Well, what else would you like to know - just ask.
Asking Price is 11.000€. And YES, this is where 5513s in this condition are at - at least in Germany. I believe this is a fair price as there are not many watches out there in this condition. I almost paid the same when i got it.
Again, i am just thinking about selling it because that Double Red Sea Dweller still hurts a bit...And somehow one vintage 1665 Sub and a daily 14060 are enough dive watch for me.
Lemme know what you think!
Cheers!
Felix
