REDUCED - $9,600! - Vintage Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 from 1967 - Serviced

I’m putting up my 1967 Submariner Ref. 5513 as I have an opportunity to pick-up a birth year 5512. If it’s meant to be, someone gets a really great deal & watch, and I get a cool birth year for my collection - a win/win! (If not, I certainly don't feel bad about keeping this one.)

This is a piece I purchased originally from Adam at Menta Watches a few years ago. It was authenticated by Adam and several knowledgeable Rolex collector & dealer friends.

All is proper for a 1967 Submariner Ref. 5513.

- Matte Meters First Dial
- “Long 5” Insert
- Original Crown
- Original Crystal
- SN 1600XXX
- Bracelet is period correct C+I Rivet dated ‘65.

Cal.1520 movement was fully serviced by Adam’s watchmaker when I purchased it and runs great. After service timed out at +/- 4 s/d at 247 amplitude & 19800 bps. Pic below.

Concretively, condition is above average. Overall it is a very attractive, correct and honest example. A great, wearable piece for someone looking for an iconic 5513 vintage Submariner at a price that offers instant equity.

What to be aware of: No papers, no box. Probably a light polish in past. I cannot be 100% certain hand lume being all original (or not). Hands do not fluoresce under ultraviolet, which could be indicative of "dead lume" known from this timeframe for Rolex -OR- being color corrected to match dial. **To be safe, I will call them color corrected as to not mislead/upset anyone.

Bracelet when set to longest point measures 6-3/4 long - spring bar -to- spring bar.

I’m told market is around $11K - $11.5K +/- based on like condition and hands, . I’m hoping to sell this fast to make the 5512 purchase work. With that, I’m only asking $9,600 for a quick, no hassle sale and based on condition.
