·Up for sale is my 2998-62 Speedmaster. Watch is in nice overall condition, pictures are honest and unmodified.
Case - midcase shows wear, dings and marks from use, it has been polished in the past. Very nice case back with a sharp Hippocampus engraving. Correct early flat foot crown. Pushers are service.
Bezel - Faded DON that changes color/tint depending on the light. Has scratches, marks from use.
Bracelet - No Strap or bracelet included, sold head only
Dial - The dial has nice light yellow patina on the plots, showing some lume loss. You can get a good look at that under the UV light pic included
Hands - The watch had later baton hands fitted when I purchased it originally, so I bought a set of service 2998 hands from Omega which are currently on the watch. They hands were color matched by James Hyman in the UK using luminuous material that fades quickly
Movement - Movement runs well, my watchmaker has serviced it within the last few years, but i can't recall exactly when. Serial is in range for a 2998-62.
Priced at $11,900 USD shipped worldwide via FedEx ParcelPro. I believe the watch is priced very fairly with allowance given for the service hands and pushers. Payment via wire or potentially Paypal with references. I have references in the seller feedback section of this forum.
Thank you OF for the space!
