·Up for sale is a very attractive Omega Seamaster chronograph with an automatic cal. 1040 movement.
The original, unrefinished blue sunburst dial is in excellent condition. The blue dial features fantastic contrasts with the white tachymeter and the eggshell white stepped subdial at 6 o’clock and the blue and grey subdial at 9 o’clock. Applied tent shaped rectangle hour markers with black inlay.
Inside is an automatic cal. 1040 movement, a modified version of the Lemania cal. 1340. Service history is unknown but the watch is keeping good time and chronograph functions work properly.
Stainless steel case shows some wear but is in well preserved condition overall. Original pushers and Omega signed crown.
Both pictured straps (leather and SS) are included in the sale.
The watch measures approximately 38mm w/o the crown and has a 22mm lug width.
Price: 1850 USD (net) + shipping.
Plenty of references as buyer and seller that can be provided upon request.
I would consider a trade up/down for a clean, vintage 18k chronograph. I’m open to different models but would prefer trading up for a Zenith c. 146 or Omega c. 321.
