A similar one here, albeit horribly over polished. I am no expert but think it's all good.

Thanks, yes I came across that one too. 😁 The lugs are similar but still a bit different, missing one "angle" if that makes sense lol.

Yes, not exactly the same, similar, but it shows that they were using cases with faceted lugs in the 1940's.
