Hello guys,

I’m new on this forum. I think I will mostly read an enjoy watching the pictures. Myself I’m an watch collector of an particular brand: Invicta. But not just Invicta. I collect their vintage pieces. I got quite a lot of them, I think around 50 different pieces.
What do you guys think of this brand and their pieces?

Nice vintage pieces! See through caseback of a Invicta watch circa 1945. From a book titled: “The Swiss Watch” by Jaquet Chapuis.

Vintage Invicta’s are great. Modern pieces are trash.

Wonderful pieces you have.

Vintage Invicta tend to have a bed reputation amongst some collectors, but in my experience, there are some gems.

I have a Royal Marine diver that is very well constructed, with a screw-down crown, and literally the most comfortable steel bracelet that I have ever used.

Very cool collection!

I can’t help but wonder, would you be allowed to join a Redbar chapter with that collection???

Can't fully agree with that, yes lots of trash but also some good solid Seiko and Selita equipped traditional automatic dive and dress watches are also in their line up.

Some of the Vintage Invictas may be a bit boring but your collection shows there are some really nice and collectable watches, its just a shame that the old ones are overshadowed by the current crop of Invictas.

I haven't managed to score any vintage ones yet but I do have an eye out for them, I do have a few modern auto pro diver watches but that's hardly the same thing 🙁 ::stirthepot::

I just picked some random pictures I made. But I know what you mean with boring. Not every watch they made is really special. I got also some entry watches. Most time those doesn’t look very special. I also collect them to preserve some of the history.

Photographed vintage Invicta chronograph from 1960s. I think it has Valjoux 22 inside. Very lovely case too!

I have a thing for gold skeleton watches.

Your going to love my last purchase lol.

Seiko movement in a old school Rolex type case with a faux patina omega style dial and Mercedes hands.
