I need some information on this watch I recently purchased. I couldn't find much on the internet. I would appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks

I'm no expert but I'll give it a shot.
I guess you already know that vintage Invicta has not that much in common with modern Invicta.
This is, I believe, a Landeron 48 in a plated case. Generally, it is recommended to pursue solid metal cases, but if it does for you I see no problem. I'm guessing this was manufactured around the 1950s. You'll also have to be a little more careful with this as the movement has no shock protection.
A quick google yielded this: https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/the-history-of-invicta-seeland-watches.519880/
    Hope this helps.

Actually, you would be surprised. There are some nice vintage Invictas with SS cases and high quality movements. They just don't show up very often for some reason. As noted above, this one is entry-level.

There are some great vintage Invictas but trying to find them is like trying to find a pink marble amongst gumballs.

A few hundred USD, given the overall condition.

Good to know. I'm gonna hold on to it. I like the dial and hands. The manual wind is very cool too.
