Hello, could someone tell me please if the movement pictured is complete? I know they went their own way with design but this doesn’t look correct to me. It winds and the watch runs however the chrono function doesn’t, it’s from 1941 , many thanks Jim

It's missing the entire chrono complication, well, except for the pusher and the column wheel and set lever.

Thank you very much. From your knowledge is this chronograph mechanism difficult/ expensive to source?

I have no idea about parts prices and availability, but unless the watch has immense sentimental value, it would be a waste of money to attempt a restoration.

Not recognizing parts missing in this example posted is a good reason to skip vintage and just buy a new watch.

Someone before you scavenged parts to complete their watch. Probably the seller.

I think Ive seen this watch and pass on purchase
most chronograph components are missing and you never complete it in our days
You should to get donor watch or movement to complete your project
