·Selling my early to mid 60's Excelsior Park multichron 45M chronograph with the EP 4 movement in 18k solid gold snapback case. Excelsior Park (EP) branded watches are basically Gallet and if you have followed these chronographs, you know it's not easy to find one in 18k solid gold with an excellent condition dial.
Watch is all original except for the crystal and strap. 36mm in diameter with 19mm lugs. Case looks to be polished in the past but still with even lugs, with wears and scratches consistent with age. There is no damage to the crown but some developed patina. Silver/white dial is in excellent condition with a few light marks around and to the left of the center area, as can be seen in the pics. Otherwise, it's in really good condition. Torch style indices are red copper in color which contrast well with the gold tone hands. The sunken sub dials with concentric circles look amazing in the macro pics. The blue tachymeter scale is very eye-catchy as well! Serial 943xxx as engraved on the inside of the caseback.
The watch keeps reasonable time at present, though no guarantees can be made with any vintage watch. All chronograph functions are working as they should but actual service history is unknown. The watch will start to run with just 1-2 full winding at the crown, and I recall it has an amplitude of around 300 last time I brought it to my watchmaker. No return accepted unless the watch is grossly misrepresented. The pictures also serve as part of the descriptions.
Price is USD$2550. Shipping will be UPS (2-day insured by Parcel Pro) and included in the US. PayPal fee is extra. Face to face can be arranged in the LA area. International transaction may be accepted at my discretion and shipping is at cost. No trades please. This is my first sale post but I have been active on WUS under the same username and below are some feedback links to WUS (please advise if this is not allowed). I am also on Insta as @soysauz, and I bought a watch from Lars here (who is @awesomost on insta but I can't seem to find him here anymore)
