Hey guys, I am offering this 18K solid gold pocket chronograph made by Omega. Regarding the serial this watch was build between 1912 and 1916, so its around 110 years old. During this years, the watch was well used, so the soft gold case got a few dings here and there. In the pics the lids were open, all close as they should. But the beauty is in the front and here we see a beautiful dial witch interesting color accents not just in the 12 o clock sub, but also on the edge of the dial with colored scales.
The Dial is marked "Cadran Brevete S.G.D.G" which to my knowlegde means, this watch was sold in France. The top sub has some very thine lines visible, but no cracks. The hands are blued, unfortunately the hour hand lost the tip. NOS ones are available at ebay.
On the other side, there is the huge and no less beautiful Cal. 18" CHRO. Its working and all functions are given, but Service history is unknown.
The watch weights 95g, the diameter is 54mm.

Regarding the price, I would like to have the anticipated gold price plus a small bonus so a another collector can enjoy it and the watch wont be scrapped for some earrings 😉 . I think 2.500€ is fair. Watch is located in Germany, world wide shipping is no problem.

Let me know if you have questions.

Cheers Nico

Ok, lets make it quick. Reduction to 2.200€. The Case without movement and dial (but with plexi) weights 45g. At a todays Gold price of around 46€, this is just a shy over the scrap value. I dont wanna scrap it and I hope you wont too 😉

Scrap??? Never ever, nobody! 🫨

If I would not specifically collect Englich pocket watches, I would immediately buy this one. The joint might be repairable with laser welding, the hour hand should be easily sourced.

Best, Bernhard
