Over the last few months I have encountered various examples of vintage watches with authentic dials that show alignment problems. I believe all of these dials are authentic and not redialed. I am curious as to how this might have happened and how they passed QC. Also curious about other examples.
Example 1: the rose gold studs are slightly misaligned with the minute track.
Example 2:
The subdial is hopelessly misaligned which leads to the 5 marker touching it.
Example 3:
This watch was sold here on OF and remarkably has the same defect as the Record above.
Example 4:
For some reason the 5 marker is upside down.
