Very interesting. The first advertisement is touting the Seamaster as a sports watch that’s waterproof but elegant and versatile enough that you can wear at a dinner, as well as dive to 60 meters deep.
The second advertisement claims, very strangely, that over 50% of RAF crews experienced the waterproof capabilities of the Seamater “during the war”. What war? Certainly not WWII as the Seamaster did not exist back then- and that’s not what RAF crews were using.
One has to guess back then there were no regulations about fairness and accuracy in advertising- and that anyone including Omega was free to BS to their heart’s content….

Thank you for the translation. I can’t remember what magazine or year that was from but I did pull it from the internet. I’ll go back and see if I can find it again
