Mid 80s Rolex GMT ad by Jean Genoud

 

These are from a jewelers trade magazine from the late 60s so a bit of a different angle.

 

Very interesting to see what a GMT looked like when new(ish), looks like an early 70's watch (mark 2 dial). Compare to the one Mr Kaplan sold a few months ago.

I love this ad from 1939. The 2 soldiers are ready to defend the FÉDÉRATION HORLOGÈRE SUISSE from the invading Germans and the one guy’s looking at his watch saying, it’s 6pm, I think we should surrender.
