Vintage 70's 1171 for new 2019 Speedy Pro question.

Morning all,

I have at last acquired a new Speedmaster (311.33.42.30.01.001). I would like to add a vintage feel and have decided on the 1171.

I am aware the modern variartion (020ST1171633) needs filing to fit, however, I have the opportunity to purhase an original example and am enquiring if anyone has advice on the fit, will it need work as well or slip straight on?

If I have missed something in an existing thread I apologise, any advice much appreicated.

I would always prefer a new production 1171/1 over a completely worn down 633ish. And it is not said that filing is always required. My 1171/1 fitted well with my new Speedy without having it filed before.
