New Speedy Pro question:

Hi all,
I just picked up the new 2021 Speedy Pro at my AD. The box came without the white warranty card holder. I bought an unopened Speedy still in the packing box and the display box and cardboard outer box came separately, of course. Is this something new or should I have gotten the holder with the box as well? Any other new owners of the 2021 Speedy Pro out there get the holder?
Thanks!!!

My three cards (warranty, pictograms, and master chronometer) came in a ziplock bag. The AD had placed everything in the black box before shipping. Also includes the tag and the polishing cloth, but that is about it.

Omega doesn't use them anymore.

They've gone in the opposite direction from the prior Speedmaster in the packaging area, from maximum to minimum.

Thanks for posting this, I was wondering the same thing.

You bought an unopened Speedy? How did you do that? Did you just ask an AD for it? Or a boutique?

There have been a few people who've said a paper bag would be fine if the price of the box and accessories was subtracted from the total price. They didn't get that, instead they got a less complete packaging AND a higher price, and an error prone movement out of the gate. Progress!

Yup, some brands that produce a lot of watches like Omega, Rolex etc are shifting to smaller boxes to save here and there. I think Omega is keeping the big ones for limited or special watches only.

Curious to know how long is it taking for the buyers to get back their watch after it is sent to Omega to be fixed. Two, three, four months?

I actually prefer the smaller boxes. I never bought the old 1861/1863 Speedies because the boxes were so big. It's just a huge waste of space in my closet.

When I sent my 2500 Seamaster for servicing, it was 6-8 weeks.

There's a space underneath travel box watch holder to place the cards.
