Maybe Pianist coudl explained better thab me as he master the re-luming but what you see in yellow/Brown is Something like the 'glue' stick on the marker to make the tritium stick... the tritium is green ont this Watch you can see some on the 6 hour marker...
So maybe it is better to cancel the auction and ask Le pianiste to relume it ! I know he can do an outstanding job... I have personnaly favored genuine unmodified dials....

And sadly eveybody is focusing of the small things not up to the NOS condition 😉
Holly F**** look at the overall condition ! One of the first 105.003-65 delivered in 1966 in january with extract, a 23 links 7912 with number 6 end links. Look at the 321, look at the sharp case condition ! 😀

Whooo I never said that! This watch is still amazING ! But the description doesn't clearly stated that the lume is off so to avoid any deception it is better to mention it before... I guess

Hi all,

I just want to share this with Speedmaster's addict : http://www.ebay.com/itm/131831514012
This watch is amazing and it look going out from a time capsule!! The polishing is made by a specialist and 100% respect with the original specs
I saw it in a meeting...just gorgeous!!!

To settle the lume question on the second watch, I asked the seller and he is upfront: "There is no more lume on the plots. Prefer to leave like that in order for the future owner to chose between doing it or not."

Haha thanks, it's early in the Midwest, didn't see if you'd posted that here.

Matter of personal preference, but most collectors here would prefer no polishing. The case back especially has lost its definition. turn off for me, but best of luck with the sale

Lost its definition ? Sadly you can't see it in real...

Yeah I am sure it looks better in person, but the bevelled edges on the case back do look like they have lost there crispness. Polishing = removing metal, so gonna happen. It does look nice and shiny though

YMMV. I guess bidders have good eyes. They will decide.

You don't like the watch it is your problem. Maybe others want or need informations. Are you an administrator here ? In this case I will gladly shut my mouth. This watch is for sale on Ebay of course but as a passionate guy I think I can accept and admit things (no more lume) but since you say the case is not sharp make me Wonder if you really know what you are saying . With all the respect you deserve as an old member here of course. Once again I respect your opinion but in this case (...) I don't agree with you. Peace.

Since his first post in this thread said that he was the seller, I'd say that no harm was done...
