·In the future when people ask me why I don't ship internationally, I'm going to point them towards this thread. I use USPS Priority Mail in the CONUS only (fully insured) and it's extremely reliable. Granted, I haven't had to actually make an insurance claim yet so I can't speak to if it actually works or not.
Also, I get that you're frustrated that they missed the delivery window, but the package was all of 5 hours late... maybe cut them some slack.
Please read again. They gave me a delivery window of 11am to 6pm.... on a weekend. I had a party to attend that day at 5.30pm and I had to inform that I was late... I left my place at 6.15pm, still looking out for the ups van right to the end.
I am very busy usually on weekends. Out running errands, marketing etc. You cannot expect someone to stay at home all day waiting for a delivery that didn't happen.... 5 hours past their slated time.
Of course, I can imagine they have hundreds of packages to deliver. But this isn't the delivery guy's fault. It's the company issue. They don't allow you to state a time window (e.g Fedex has a window of 2pm to 6pm, or 6pm to 10pm) so it gives you alot more to play with....
You speak of 5 hours like its 5minutes..........
