No love for the goldies G38X? they're pretty much underpriced compared to the A38xes at the moment and rarer!
Glad you've got with the program, @jhross98. We're all about tough love here, but ever ready to forgive a repentant sinner. To your original question, early A384 & 385 prices are taking forever to move. doesn't bother me one bit, as I like the opportunity to prospect, even more given that my other early interests have taken off (Universal & Heuer). The early El Primero package is so damn hot, so much better than comparables, that I have no doubt these will eventually take off. In the meantime, I accumulate while the Rolex refugees who have been driving up the Universal market slowly realize that the Valjoux 72 is not in fact the pinnacle and an external tachymeter bezel is not the ultimate chronograph feature. Even the early El Primeros which have started to move like the A3817 and 3818 have room to run, IMO. The A386? Let's not even begin. That is a chronograph for the ages. It waves its private parts at the competition.
been trying to look around the forum, not sure if this is the best thread to post this question, the a386 caught my eye recently, i'm not well versed in zenith watches at all, but seems like there's some differences in the mk1, mk2 cases and so on? can someone point me in the right direction? or should i start a new thread? thanks for all your tips beforehand!
