    @niko4891 It is not really NOS, but in top top condition...
    I did fetch it myself from the dealer actually, and my eyes were like a kid opening the christmas presents.... i soooo love this reference...
    it now has a new alligator strap, looks very cool and classy

    superb pictures. I have to admit, I used to hate that tri-colored subdial on these. Then I saw a modern reissue in a boutique and realized the colors just . . . . work? It was just the right amount of color and contrast.

    Man . . . as if i needed another watch to be obsessed about . . .

    @BenBagbag i ready only 2500 A386 were made between October 1969 and 1971.... So little compared to the dozens of thousands of daytonas....

    The estimated production of the A386 is 4500. I believe Rossler was the source for the 2500 number, and in recent years he has updated it to 4500.

    What I find interesting is the estimated production of the A3817 and A3818 is 1000 each. Though, they are rarely seen compared to the A386. This leads me to believe that either they made less of the A3817/A3818 or more of the A386 than the estimated numbers suggest.
