·Sadly I think a lot more is wrong with that watch...
Starting with the ref (not a M-C) and serial (too early).
Probable redial, wrong hands ...

Notice this one has an early serial as well 🤔
Of course, the hand set on this one could also be incorrect
Makes sense that the serial is too early, since the M-C came out in the late 40s

There is this one up for sale at a prominent Parisian vintage dealer. Asking is 12.8k I think.
I don't have more photos, sadly.
The case is super sharp (maybe even too much?), but no ref nor serial visible on the back.

285 movement but unmarked. Serial is very close to a Jaeger x UG one with same shape and also 285. Caseback is unmarked and dial as well.

·I think the hands are original actually. A virtually identical watch in better conditions was sold last year for 130 USD out of France. 3K is just ridiculous though.

·I'm far from an expert here but does it seem odd that one of the subdial hands doesn't match the other two? Service moon disk and day wheel so the hour-counter hand is probably a service replacement?
