Up until yesterday it was a normal auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/235560913332 which ended at USD 2.205. Now it appears to have a BIN.

I'm not overly convinced of that dial especially since earlier it was on ebay with a different dial (https://www.ebay.com/itm/295950217901 but link is dead) 😁

The auction was set up with a reserve price which was not met 😀
Furthermore I am also not really convinced with the dial

In my opinion, dial is tired but ok. Hands are all wrong. Case is pretty tired too.
Definitely not a superb example.

The dial on this one looks strange to me but I'm probably just used to 40s dials. Seems like the dates around the moonphase disk are spilling.

It is basically the right spot but I think it has more use to post 'new' watches (vs ones which have been there for a loooong time) which may be interesting for other members

Shuck's universalone looks to be a transplanted movement. It should be cal 292.

Edit: it's a correct cal 292 just wrong description.

It’a “just” wrong description. The watch (based on the photos) has a cal 292 inside.

The watch has not sold at Antiquorum 2023 Nov Auction - if I remember the intial asking bid was 7.5k CHF which didnt materialize::

This wonderful and all correct 38mm ref 7066 Berthoud just sold for EUR 7.500 excl 33.6% fee: https://www.invaluable.com/auction-lot/berthoud-geneve-universal-chronograph-1bd40fa9fe I have a bit too much money in watches and if 1 of the 2 high values ones I have for sale would have been sold I'd perhaps have tried but you can't have them all 😁

This is a cool piece to me. 1938-39? based on ref number 2095. Hands don’t match the sub second hand
