You have a problem with that? You are clearly no fit to become a CW expert 😁

I was hoping for some feedback regarding this ebay post. Same dealer has several with the wave bracelet, and is asking quite the price point. 6,632 US. Seems exorbitant but the rarity of the bracelet and how much that would go for sand nice example black dial is unclear to me. Anyone want to chime in?
Also, only 2 reviews, both positive but still.
Thanks.

The SAS is intriguing.
This looks suspiciously like a White Shadow case as opposed to any Polerouter I have seen. Certainly there are examples of White Shadows with Roman numerals. But what is the SAS emblem doing on this? Curious about this one. Frankenwatch?

I see nothing to suggest that. Special run that did not wind up getting engraved?

I have seen the typical SAS Polerouters given to employees (steel case) and the occasional gold case one that were upgrades for pilots or UG executives ( like the excellent example Dre acquired in 2016). Haven’t seen this variant. Anyone else have any insights?

I'm not that familiar with the late Polerouter models or the Shadow models but I'm fairly sure this is a late Polerouter Day Date.
I'm not sure any of the Shadow models had day and date?

I have a similar one with its box and same engraving on top. I think the original owner was a former employee/executive.

I agree.

BTW @Nerves69 was there a link with more photos that you have edited out which doesn't exactly help the discussion? My recollection was that it had a 14k case which would suggest it was a US market watch? And besides a White Shadow would always be a stainless steel case so that's a non-starter. I've just measured a spare Cal 72 and a 66 - I was surprised that the 72 is 27mm in diameter as opposed to the 66's 28.48 but the 72 is a good 1mm thicker - that's not going to fit.

Right, technically they were called Golden Shadow but same case as White Shadow .
