Very rare reference: 12392. Movement is matching. Dial is unfortuntaley a redial (and the original one should be - according to Sala - a 'prototype dial') https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256435060360

What do you guys think about this one?

https://www.ebay.at/itm/14556186568...peu3znwsfs&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Looks like it needs a proper service, but other than that it seems like an honest example for the price. Might be tough to source the missing endlink for the bracelet but the case seems still unpolished with sharp edges and it looks like the original crown & crystal are still intact. Dial looks to be in perfect shape with nicely aged tritium lume.

What do you say - nice opportunity or pass?

It's at the less collectable end of the range, as far as Polerouters go.

@Meya ….I think a good polish of the Crystal and a service would clean this up nicely.

Oh that dial brings back memories of ragging on Ben Clymer and a battle with another dealer. One of the greatest, nastiest dial debate threads ever.

Thank you very much @Mazoue and @Larry S for your assessment! It seems to be a Ref. 869119 on a Henry&Cie Bracelet if I have done my homework correctly.

The upper Endlink seems to be a generic replacement as the original one should have a groove in the middle like this one:

Picture borrowed from ebay.

But the bracelet is my least concern, I can wear it on a strap and try hunting down correct endlinks later as a long-term project.

Even if not the most special or collectable reference, I think it might be a good project for my first Polerouter to "dip my feet in" a bit. I will report back in a new thread if I really pull the trigger on this one.

Thank you again for sharing your knowledge! 👍

Fair warning … UG is addictive.

Thanks for your warning, but you are already too late. While this is my first Polerouter, it is the third UG (Ferrovie dello Strato Mk 2, Altesse) that I have purchased so far and the addiction only began 2 months ago...::facepalm1::😉
